  • Used flight paths from 1997 and 2016

  • Used 40 different GCP’s to manually geometrically correct the flight paths with a RMS error of 0.532.

  • The month of June was used for both time periods to reduce inaccuracy due to seasonal changes.

  • Using the same AVIRIS flight paths it was possible to acquire Red-edge and NDVI images of both times.

  • Using the Red Edge Forest Health Images, we created a change detection map to show the true changes in vegetation health and growth.

  • We also linked displays between the two NDVI images to see basic changes.
